Part A: Setting Up Email (on device / email client)
First, you need to know your email server settings (IMAP, SMTP, etc.). eWeball provides these in their FAQ. eweball.com
Here are the general settings for eWeball:
| Item | Value / Example* |
|---|---|
| Incoming (IMAP) server | imap.yourdomain.com |
| Incoming port (IMAP + SSL) | 993 (SSL) |
| Outgoing (SMTP) server | smtp.yourdomain.com |
| Outgoing port / encryption | 587 (TLS) or 465 (SSL) |
| Username | Full email address (e.g. you@yourdomain.com) |
| Password | The mailbox password you set when creating the email |
* Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name.
A1. Setup on Android
From eWeball’s FAQ: eweball.com
Open your Android mail app (Gmail app, Samsung Mail, etc.).
Add a New Account → choose Manual Setup → select IMAP.
Enter your email address and password.
For Incoming (IMAP):
Server:
imap.yourdomain.comPort: 993
Security: SSL
For Outgoing (SMTP):
Server:
smtp.yourdomain.comPort: 465 (SSL)
Security: SSL
Authentication: On, with your email & password
Finish / Test settings. The device should validate and sync.
A2. Setup on iPhone / iPad (iOS)
From the same FAQ: eweball.com
Go to Settings → Mail → Accounts → Add Account → Other.
Add Mail Account. Fill in: Name, Email address, Password (mailbox), Description.
Under Incoming Mail Server (IMAP):
Hostname:
imap.yourdomain.comUsername: your email
Password: mailbox password
Under Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP):
Hostname:
smtp.yourdomain.comUsername / Password: same as incoming
Use SSL / TLS, port 587 (or 465)
After saving, go into the SMTP (Outgoing) settings and ensure the primary server is SSL / TLS with correct port 587. eweball.com
A3. Setup in Desktop Email Client (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.)
Use IMAP (so that mail is synced across devices) — eWeball recommends it. eweball.com
Incoming (IMAP) settings:
Server:
imap.yourdomain.comPort: 993
Encryption: SSL / TLS
Authentication: normal password
Outgoing (SMTP) settings:
Server:
smtp.yourdomain.comPort: 587 (STARTTLS) or 465 (SSL)
Encryption: TLS / STARTTLS (or SSL)
Authentication: yes, same email & password
If automatic setup doesn’t work, enter these manually. For Outlook, eWeball says it uses “autodiscover” to help in many cases. eweball.com
Part B: Changing the Email / Mailbox Password
This depends on where eWeball allows you to manage mailboxes (probably via their hosting control panel). The FAQ doesn’t explicitly include “change mailbox password” steps, so the process is inferred from common hosting patterns and similar hosts.
You log into your My Account / Client / Hosting control panel via https://eweball.com/
Navigate to
Manage Services / Hosting / Manage your Hosting Packages/ Manage / Email / MailboxesThere, find the mailbox whose password you want to change.
Enter a new password and save.
Since the FAQ is more focused on usage rather than step-by-step password changes, here’s a generic method (adapted from how many hosts do it) plus tips from similar hosts:
B1. Using the Hosting Control Panel (Client Area / Email Section)
Log in to your eWeball account at https://eweball.com/. Go to Manage Hosting → select the package / domain containing the mailbox.
Find the Email / Mailboxes (or “Email Accounts”) section.
Locate the specific mailbox (e.g.
info@yourdomain.com).Click “Manage” or “Edit” beside it (or a pencil / settings icon).
Enter the New Password (and confirm it).
Save / Update email settings.
After this, you must update your password on all devices and email clients using that mailbox (phone, desktop, webmail, etc.).
B2. (If Available) Change via Webmail Interface
If eWeball uses a webmail client (Roundcube, etc.), sometimes you can change the password within webmail settings:
Log in to webmail ( https://mail.eweball.com/ or via the hosting control panel).
Go to Settings → Password (or “Account / Security / Settings”)
Provide current password, new password, and confirm.
Save / Apply change.
However, this works only if eWeball enables that feature. (Not all hosts allow changing mailbox passwords via webmail.)
Tips & Best Practices
Use a strong password (mix of uppercase, lowercase, digits, special symbols).
Avoid reusing passwords across multiple services.
After changing the password, update all clients/devices instantly so you don’t get lockouts or sync errors.
Wait a few minutes after making changes — sometimes DNS / mail server propagation or internal caching may cause delays.
If you have trouble, check eWeball support / contact support because sometimes the hosting UI differs by plan.
